History of Bangladesh

About Bangladesh Day Parade

The Bangladesh Parade Day will help express the culture the Bengali community is full of. This Parade will represent the Bangladeshi people, represent our National Heroes, who fight for the country, and for Language, We want to show our brave nation to the world. As a nation we are stronger, we have unity, and we have everything which a nation does have. We want to show our culture, our land and river, our morals, and all national things. This Parade will be the stepping stone to bigger and more engaging events with the Bangladeshi community in NYC.

50 acres of land for Graveyard

We have requested 50 acres of to build a gravesite for a growing and soon-to-be-recognized community. This gravesite will be especially meaningful for our religion and culture, in the way we deal with the loss of a loved one.

Bangladesh Monument

New York City is filled with different regions, cultures, and communities, and is in general a very diverse state. Construction of this monument will impact it in a way where we live up to the name America has for itself. Welcoming everyone from everywhere. This monument will be placed as the first site that features the Bangladeshi community in all of New York.Instead of temporary Shaheed Minars present all throughout NYC, we should have a permanent official monument of the Shaheed Minar in honor of the many Bengali people that populate New York State.
